Nelson enjoyed a short, but noteworthy
class career. Shown
3 specialty weekends in the puppy classes, he won 1 BOS in
sweeps, 2 Best Puppy wins, and 2 major reserves.
After waiting at home for 10 months (with one specialty
outing that resulted in another RWD at 13 months) while I
finished Carly and Sybil, he came out in Bred By at 18 months
old and finished in 4 specialty weekends with 4 majors,
including Specialty and supported entry wins. His
first kids entered the ring the same weekend Nelson finished,
and 6 are now champions one has finished with 4 majors and a Group 2 and
moved to Greece, where she went BIS her first time out.
Nelson will hang out at home for a while to finish
growing up and entertain us with his silly, sweet personality.
The result of a breeding of an Australian Grand Ch and a
lovely, BOB winning bitch from our lines, we hope that he will
be useful for the future in terms of genetic diversity and
overall quality. We
appreciate the many compliments from judges, and the interest
shown in him by other breeders.
Nelson is PRA genetically clear, OFA Good, and thyroid Normal.
Nelson was the
Winner of the 2012 ISCA Bred By Exhibitor Dog Award and finished
his Grand Champion title, taking a big OH Group 1 along the way.
